Two of our assessors have shared snapshots of some of the challenges they have faced this week while travelling to sites to undertake five yearly asbestos and hazardous building material audits at client assets in remote Australia.

Buildings established prior to 2004, or with asbestos identified or assumed to be present must be routinely monitored and maintained, and a LAA or competent person be engaged every 5 years to review the asbestos register.
